Yes, most AMO preceptors are willing to do this. If you request that your letter be uploaded to ERAS, please follow the steps provided below:

Create an AAMC Account
a. Go to https://services.aamc.org/eras/lorportal to create an account.
b. Input your personal information
c. Select whether you are a medical student, resident, or fellow.
d. Create a username and password for your account
e. You will receive a confirmation email for your account. You will need to click on the link in the email to complete the account registration.
f. Use your name and password to sign in to your account. -
Send the LRF (Letter Request Form) to the doctor's or administrator's email
Please make sure to include:
• Full name
• Name of university
• ERAS Letter ID #
• Dates you are applying to residency
• The dates of your program
When you send your request to the doctor or administrator please make sure to CC support@amopportunities.org so that we can assist you if need be.
Please allow four to six weeks for your LoR to be uploaded or sent to the point of contact given at your university or institution. If it takes longer than the aforementioned time, please notify us and we will follow up with the office to ensure your letter be uploaded or sent to the point of contact given.
