We recommend your letter be submitted directly to ERAS through the Letter of Recommendation Portal if you plan to apply for residency soon. Once you create an account you will be able to generate a request form for the LoR you are requesting. The letter writer will then use the unique ID you provide to them to upload your LoR.
If you are not requesting the letter be uploaded for residency please provide a contact at your university (e.g. Dean, Associate Dean, Program Director, Residency Director, etc.) and we will have the letter sent to the administrative contact provided OR if discussed with your physician in advance, the letter can be given directly to you in a sealed envelope or via email.
