Regarding the health insurance (or travel-medical insurance), we require your insurance plan to meet the following requirements:
- Coverage must be valid in the USA or internationally
- Coverage must extend at least from the start date of your rotation through the end date of your rotation
- Must include at least $50,000 USD or 50k in medical coverage
- Health plan must provide COVID-19 coverage
You can submit a policy summary or Certificate of Insurance which verifies these requirements and we should be able to accept it as long as you purchase insurance from a trusted company and your insurance plan meets the above requirements.
We recommend VisitorsCoverage as it it relatively affordable. Just make sure that the plan covers all of your rotation dates and includes COVID-19 coverage.
For US Citizens, you can try purchasing coverage through IMGlobal or UnitedHealthcare. Otherwise, we'll allow you to purchase health insurance coverage from any reputable company as long as it meets the same coverage requirements stated above:
