What is a B1 visa invitation letter? How do I get one?

AMOpportunities provides a B1 visa invitation letter for four-week clinical experiences, provided the visitor is eligible. B-1 visas are for temporary professional visitors to the United States. This letter outlines the basic premises of your clinical experience and can be used to start the visa process at the U.S. Consulate in your home country.

Please upload a letter from your school dean authorizing the rotation or a copy of your diploma, and a copy of your passport to your AMO Profile. You will also need to input the following to your Profile: passport number, passport issue, and expiration dates, and your visa interview date.

After all of these steps are completed you will be able to request your invitation letter.
