It may take four to six weeks for your preceptor to write and upload or email your LoR. If it takes longer than this, please notify your AMO Coach. They will follow up with your rotation host to ensure you receive your letter.
A key aspect of making sure you get your letter of recommendation quickly is the planning of it. We encourage you to schedule time with your physician and introduce them to the idea of writing you an LoR. Make sure you discuss distribution (ERAS, email, direct mail) and the date you should expect to receive it.
