Can I bring my child to the U.S. during my AMO rotation?

While you can travel with your child for your clinical experience, you should keep in mind that children are not allowed to attend daily rotations. The goal of the experience is to give you an accurate look at what it's like to be a healthcare professional and develop your clinical skills. Achieving both of these goals is difficult if the rotation does not have your undivided attention.

With the above information in mind, you would have to coordinate child care through the rotation which would require time, effort, and money. Because of this, we do not recommend bringing children when traveling for your clinical experience.
