Does AMO offer transportation services within the U.S.?

It is the visitor's responsibility to plan their transportation internally. This includes transportation to and from their clinical experience site. Visitors should get acquainted with transportation in the city they are rotating in. Below are some transportation methods readily found in the U.S.

• Public Transportation

This varies from city to city, but many locations in the U.S have trains and buses that are relatively affordable. You can also search for information on the public transportation of other cities online.

• Taxis

You can either order a taxi by phone or flag one down on a busy street. You can also pick up a taxi at the local airport, train station, bus station, and in front of major hotels. If you're not staying in a large city, finding a taxi is more difficult.

• Ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft

These services allow you to enter your location and your destination in an app on your phone, and a driver will pick you up and deliver you to your destination for a fee.
