# Is there an AMO pre-departure orientation?

Yes, AMOpportunities provides link to a recorded Pre-Departure Orientation to help you prepare for your upcoming clinical experience. This recording is available directly in your AMO dashboard once your reservation is confirmed.

The orientation covers key topics such as:

- What to expect on your first day
- Clinical experience expectations
- How to request your Letter of Recommendation
- Tips for communicating with your physician
- How and when to contact the AMO team

We encourage you to watch this recording before you travel. It’s a helpful overview and answers many common questions from trainees like you!

If you need help accessing the orientation, reach out to your AMO Coach.
